Four in a day.

Friday 13th wasn’t ill-fated for us it turned out. We had four exchanges in one day making five in total for the week with two other purchases completing. £10m worth of homes on one day.

Rosie got two deals over the line making three in total for her. The first a nice house outside Ipswich from Savills. Next a perfect first home in Wiltshire for lovely clients being sold by Cater Jonas. Her first for the week had been a neat home in Kew Gardens for repeat clients sold by Chase Buchanan.

Meanwhile, trying not to be outdone I was able to get contracts exchanged on a wreck in Berkshire which our surveyor described as being “in the worst condition I can remember ever seeing”. Savills in Sunningdale were the selling agents in a somewhat protracted and emotionally charged deal.

Finally, with the help of Knight Frank and with the same solicitor, Middletons in Stockbridge we exchanged on a lovely Old Rectory in Essex. Our clients were delighted having bought a house in Primrose Hill the previous week. [This is the fifth property I have bought from Knight Frank since the start of the Pandemic.]

This leaves us with seventeen clients hoping to find a new home and six in solicitors hands. Fingers crossed we will exchange of perhaps three of them next week.
